Next Gen

China research within Europe has made great strides in the last decades, and it needs to continue to do so to ensure that Europe is provided with qualified and innovative research on China in the near and distant future.

To support this need, the China Horizons project has identified a grouping of people under the umbrella of “Next Generation China Researchers”. In here, we provide an overview of selected China scholars and experts who deliver high-quality inputs to the field, yet who are still in earlier stages of their career, e.g. not tenured at university or not senior level at think tanks (yet!). More specifically, you will on this page find “Next Gen” researchers from the partner institutions working on the China Horizons project as well as partner institutions under our sister projects ReConnect China and EuroHub4Sino.

The gallery below provides you with an overview of these selected researchers. Clicking on an individual researcher will lead to you to their personal page where you will be able to dive further into their area of expertise, list of publications, various academic identifiers and more.

Good luck with browsing the various profiles under this promising group of Next Generation China Researchers!
