Upgrading Europe’s independent knowledge on China

Building a multidisciplinary analytical framework for understanding a multifaceted China under the Xi presidency, this project aims to explain and predict social, political, economic, and foreign policy changes in China.

Research-driven recommendations

The project will provide recommendations to the European Union and other stakeholders in the EU so that they can respond to the resurgent China in ways that best serve Europe’s interests and values.

Building a lasting network of China expertise in Europe

China Horizons will strongly promote interdisciplinary cooperation, exchange, and capacity building among China experts in Europe. The consortium will liaise with other existing China research networks.
