Opinion Piece: 'Green tech partnership' offers way to de-risk while decarbonizing
Building on the conclusions from their policy brief “De-risking while decarbonising: a green tech partnership to reduce reliance on China” (published on this website under the policy briefs section), Bruegel Senior Fellows Alicia García-Herrero and Heather Grabbe put forward their arguments for why U.S. and European attempts to bring production onshore will not be a sufficient, nor effective, solution to the derisking-decarbonising nexus.
