Xi Jinping on all fronts: How far will China-US rivalry go?
On March 14th, Jean-Baptiste Monnier (Asia Centre) was invited by France 24 to discuss China’s role on the international scene after Xi Jinping’s election to a third term. China has indeed asserted itself in recent days by promoting a thawing of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, by confirming a trip to Moscow and by offering its graces for peace in Ukraine.
