Heike Holbig is a Sinologist and Political Scientist working on contemporary China. She specialises in Chinese party-state ideology and propaganda targeting domestic as well as international audiences. Other research interests include state-society relations, dynamics of regime legitimation, and China’s growing ambitions to shape global norms under the leadership of Xi Jinping.
