Andreea Brinza

Andreea Brinza’s research focuses on China’s foreign policy with a special focus on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Europe-China relations. She holds a PhD, with a thesis focused on the BRI.

Her work was featured in publications such as Foreign Policy, Politico Europe, The Diplomat, South China Morning Post and Nikkei Asia, among others. She also edited and coordinated the book “Developing the EU-Japan Strategic Partnership: An analysis of European Union member states’ relations with Japan” and the report “EU-China relations: De-risking or de-coupling − the future of the EU strategy towards China”.
