Paul L.M. André is adjunct director of the master’s in management (Programme Grande Ecole) at SKEMA Business School, and adjunct professor at Sciences Po. From 2015 to 2018, he was associate professor at Waseda University (Japan) at the School of Political Science and Economics. He served from 2010 to 2015 as associate-professor at Lille Catholic University (France) where he chaired the master’s in international relations at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. From 2004 to 2006, he was lecturer at Chongqing Technology and Business University (China) at the International Business School.
His area of expertise covers international political economy, East Asia, geoeconomics, China, South Korea, in the rise of East Asia in international affairs and globalization. His recent research focused on coopetition (specifically coopetitive relations between China and its partners), the industrial society and war, power transition in the globalized world : international economy, international institutions, geopolitics.
Prof. André earn a Ph.D. holds in political science (international relations) from Paris Est University (France) in 2009. He graduated in political science and business economics
